The Story of a Photographer
I first discovered my love for photography in 2019 while taking a college photography class as an elective. What started as a simple class quickly turned into a passion I couldn’t ignore. My original goal was actually to create canvas art, so I would load up my daughter in the car and drive around searching for unique places to photograph. Somewhere along the way, I realized photography had become so much more than a hobby. In June of 2024, I officially opened my business and took a leap of faith that turned out to be one of the biggest blessings in disguise. Weddings hold a special place in my heart because they are filled with genuine emotion, beautiful moments, and the opportunity to meet incredible people. Being trusted to capture such an important day is something I will never take for granted.
Before officially opening my business, I spent time shadowing other photographers to learn the flow of wedding days, how to work with couples, and how to capture those once in a lifetime moments with confidence. Since opening my business in June of 2024, I’ve had the honor of photographing multiple weddings, each one unique and full of its own beautiful story. In addition to weddings, I have extensive experience with a wide variety of photoshoots including creative engagement sessions, family portraits, boudoir and everything inbetween! These different types of sessions have helped me grow as a photographer and strengthened my ability to capture authentic emotion, natural connection, and meaningful moments for every client I work with.
I’m a bubbly, vibrant people-person who truly loves celebrating life’s biggest moments alongside my clients. Don’t be surprised if I get a little emotional right along with you on your wedding day. I believe your photographer should be more than just someone holding a camera. I’m there to celebrate with you, laugh with you, and sometimes even dance with you while the music is playing. Speaking of music, I love bringing it with me wherever I go because it helps create a fun, relaxed, and positive atmosphere for everyone involved. I’m very easygoing and always focused on making sure your day flows smoothly so you can stay present, enjoy every moment, and feel confident that everything is taken care of.
